**Activities**:

- Develop research projects on mineral processing for RHIM raw materials plants.
- Manage research projects to assess refractories recycling processing technologies.
- Coordinate partnerships with start-ups and universities across the globe.
- Identify opportunities for technology developments by RHIM plants and suppliers visits, interdepartmental discussions and literature search.
- Definition and management of scope, tasks and schedule for project portfolio.
- Set-up, management and analysis of lab and field trials.
- Autonomy to make technical decisions and pivot on the project development.
- Develop close collaboration within the global R&D team and related departments.

**Required knowledge and skills**:

- Bachelor in chemical, metallurgy, or mining engineering with focus on Mineral Processing.
- Professional experience in research or process development for mining operations.
- Master or Doctorate in Mineral Processing is an advantage.
- Ability to manage projects independently, taking care over an extensive portfolio.
- Fluent English and Portuguese.
- Intercultural work experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge on innovation agile methods is an advantage.
- Experience working on mineral processing plants is an advantage.
