We are looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Catalog Strategy, who is passionate about music and deeply connected to the digital landscape. This person will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance, visibility, and relevance of the company's catalog across streaming platforms, social media, and other digital channels.

The primary focus of this role is to maximize engagement and consumption of the catalog, from timeless classics to major hits, connecting different generations of fans through content, storytelling, and digital innovation.

What you'll do:
  • Lead a diverse team, fostering integration with local (Sony and Som Livre) and international teams.
  • Be responsible for catalog repertoire KPIs and overall performance goals for Sony/Som Livre.
  • Test and model new strategies to grow catalog music audiences across major digital platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, Apple, Deezer, etc.).
  • Plan and manage the area's budget efficiently, investing in: content marketing, paid media, channel optimization strategies, creative projects and events, page and game creation,influencer partnerships and other innovative initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective execution and tracking of action plans, campaigns, projects, and events.
  • Analyze performance and conversion results, implementing data-driven improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with other Sony teams (Sales, Playlist Strategy, BI, Creative, Media, Marketing, and A&R) to analyze user behavior, generate insights, test hypotheses (A/B testing), and optimize revenue by reducing media dependency.
  • Stay up to date with market trends in music, digital marketing, and UX.

Requirements:
  • Fluent English and Intermediate Spanish.
  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, Advertising, or Business Administration.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Marketing and/or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 3+ years of team management experience.
  • Strong background in Marketing, Digital, or Growth within music, tech, media, digital marketing agencies, or social media companies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Canva.
  • Experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, and YouTube), Facebook Ads, YouTube Analytics, and Facebook Insights.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Gemini to increase work efficiency.
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies, UI/UX best practices, viral marketing, content marketing, and growth hacking.
