Job Description

We are seeking a commercially focused Senior Sales Operations Manager to lead financial operations and revenue governance across Latin America, with a strong emphasis on yield optimization, revenue forecasting and recognition, credit risk management, and business intelligence. This role plays a critical part in maintaining commercial integrity across billing, customer onboarding, financial reporting, and performance analytics. You will work closely with regional sales, global operations, legal, finance, and procurement teams to ensure operational discipline and financial accuracy.

Reporting to the Director of Operations (APAC & LATAM) based in Sydney, this role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for managing key financial processes, including month- and year-end close, audit and compliance activities, vendor and customer governance, and commercial reporting. The position also provides leadership for Brazil-based financial operations, with a specific focus on optimizing revenue performance, managing credit exposure, and supporting cost controls aligned to Samsung Ads' regional growth objectives.

Key Job Responsabilities

Financial Operations

  • Lead operational processes related to revenue recognition, billing, and tracking against revenue and product/seller goals.
  • Develop financial and ROI models to support commercial decision-making, scenario planning, and resource optimization.
  • Oversee commercial reporting and partner payment obligations across TV Plus (O&O and licensed channels).
  • Manage agency rebate reporting and payment requirements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with contractual terms.
  • Drive continuous reporting process improvements, including the transition to UDW.
  • Own customer onboarding workflows, collaborating with Credit and Finance to align with revenue and risk controls.
  • Oversee collections and credit exposure, supporting mitigation strategies in coordination with HQ.
  • Monitor and report on TV Plus investment ROI and OKRs, supporting performance accountability.
  • Maintain accurate commercial documentation, including sales agreements, guarantees, and bespoke terms.
  • Support operational systems administration across sales, finance, and reporting platforms.
  • Partner with business leads to identify cost savings and operational efficiencies across LATAM.

Financial Analytics

  • Leverage internal data to build audience, yield, and pricing models that support monetization strategies.
  • Create performance dashboards that track sales inputs (e.g., Salesforce activity) and outcomes (e.g., AE pacing to goals).
  • Lead the integration of RoW data into UDW to support global reporting alignment.
  • Own the weekly performance reporting cadence for LASBO.
  • Develop forecasting models for programmatic and direct revenue.
  • Build and maintain ROI models for evaluating commercial potential across products, regions, and channels.
  • Produce benchmarking metrics for internal QBRs and RoW performance reviews.

Sales Finance & Commercial Operations

  • Support deal pricing analysis and evaluate new product initiatives for commercial viability.
  • Manage sales pipeline forecasting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Track and analyse quarterly run-rate performance, highlighting variances and pacing.
  • Review and approve annual/ad-hoc pricing, ensuring alignment to discount policies.
  • Analyse pricing guardrails, discounting behaviour, and price elasticity to optimize net revenue and sell-through.
  • Recommend strategies to improve fill rates, CPMs, and sales efficiency across all regions.
  • Oversee rate card management, including FX exposure and translation considerations.

Other Responsibilities

  • Share and embed local best practices across global teams and provide training where needed.
  • Support operational improvement initiatives and strategic projects as required.
  • Contribute to commercial feasibility assessments and market expansion efforts.
  • Liaise with HQ (SBT + VD) to localize and implement global mandates aligned to regional outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field;
  • Experience in commercial finance, business intelligence, or operations—preferably in digital media or ad tech.
  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills; strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., DOMO, Power BI).
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Proven track record operating within a global/matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and project ownership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence across functions.
  • Self-starter, analytical, and capable of operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish or Korean is a strong advantage.
