Customer Marketing Specialist (Education)

Own lifecycle programs, community, events, and organic communications for existing partners, students, and families to drive engagement and re‑enrollment.

Job Overview

Market to customers—partner schools, students, and families—through lifecycle programs, community, events, and organic channels. You'll run journeys, newsletters, and fairs/conferences (as exhibitor) in close partnership with Customer Success and Academic Operations. Success: higher event participation, stronger engagement on owned channels, re‑enrollment lift from base campaigns, and on‑time/on‑budget delivery of event initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and run lifecycle journeys (welcome, onboarding, engagement, reactivation, renewal) across email/WhatsApp and other channels.
  • Build and maintain the editorial calendar (with weekly/bi-weekly cadence across channels like email, LinkedIn, Instagram); create segmented newsletters and announcements for partners, students, and families.
  • Plan and execute community events and manage exhibitor presence at fairs/congresses end‑to‑end (strategy, booth, handouts, giveaways, activations, staffing, vendors, follow‑up).
  • Produce co-marketing enablement for partners and CSMs (enrollment kits, templates, playbooks, editable assets).
  • Publish organic social content tied to your actions (stakeholder engagement, events, community highlights) to showcase WorldEd as a living institution.
  • Coordinate vendors (giveaways, graduation kits, print/fulfillment) with clear SLAs, budget, and timelines.
  • Track and report engagement KPIs and contribution to retention/re-enrollment.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and with Academics, Support, Finance, Registrar to ensure accurate, timely mass communications to our base.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in customer/lifecycle or community marketing—preferably in education/edtech services.
  • Hands-on with email and marketing automation (Brevo), CRM database management (Pipedrive), website and landing page creation (Wix), design ability (Adobe CC/Canva), plus basic video recording and editing skills along with live webinar setup capabilities.
  • Strong copywriting for parents/students/partners; experience planning and delivering online and in-person events end-to-end.
  • Data-aware: comfortable reading GA4 and spreadsheets to inform decisions and experiments.
  • Excellent project and vendor management; organized and execution-oriented.
  • Fluent English is required; Portuguese fluent; Spanish is a plus.
