Department Description

The Deals Desk team manages the discount governance for all sales orders across our Video Security and Access Control ecosystem. We perform technical and performance reviews of products, programs, and partnerships, acting as a centralized hub to interface with various teams. Our mission is to gather and analyze crucial data at different stages of the sales process, using a tool interconnected with multiple databases. This allows us to efficiently and uniformly evaluate the business's key KPIs, ensuring alignment with leadership across all functional areas.

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly analytical and technically inclined
Business Operations Intern
to join our team, supporting the critical operations of the Deals Desk.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and IT. You'll use your skills in
logic and programming
to optimize critical operational processes, manage key business data, and ensure the efficiency and profitability of complex sales deals. This is an ideal role for someone eager to apply their technical knowledge to real-world business challenges and gain exposure to the core of revenue operations.

Key Responsibilities

The intern will be directly involved in core business operations, including:

• Discount Governance Support:
  Assist in the review, validation, and analysis of sales orders and discount requests to ensure compliance with financial and commercial governance policies.
• Data Control and Reporting:
  Participate in the control, validation, and maintenance of crucial sales and financial data. Contribute to the documentation and generation of key business reports and dashboards using platforms like
  Tableau
  and
  Salesforce
  .
• Process Automation and Improvement:
  Drive internal operational efficiency by supporting process enhancements through coding and automation. This involves working with
  VBA/Macros
  in MS Office or
  Google Apps Script
  in Google Workspace.
• Cross-Functional Interface:
  Act as a key data resource, interfacing with different teams (Sales, Finance, PMO, etc.) to gather information and provide data-driven insights at various stages of the sales cycle.
• Technical Documentation:
  Document current processes and new technical solutions for internal team training and continuity.

Required Profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in
  Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems,
  or a related quantitative/technical field.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  (especially Excel) with proven experience in
  VBA/Macro programming,
  OR
  Advanced Proficiency in Google Applications
  (Sheets, etc.) with experience in
  Google Apps Script programming.
• Strong foundation in
  logic and programming languages
  , coupled with a proactive, autonomous approach to learning new technical tools or languages required for specific projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, necessary for interfacing with stakeholders across different departments.

Desirable Skills
