The Work You'll Do
We are seeking for a Solution Consultant to support Tax Determination projects in Brazil. This role is critical in delivering accurate, automated, and regulatory-compliant tax calculations using our proprietary Taxrules platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Brazilian tax legislation and experience implementing tax automation solutions

More Specifically, You Will

• Implement and configure the Tax Determination for Brazilian tax scenarios, including ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and DIFAL.
• Translate complex tax legislation into business rules and logic within the Tax Determination engine.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and design tax determination flows that align with local compliance standards.
• Support the integration of Tax Determination with client systems via REST APIs and JSON payloads.
• Monitor and validate tax outputs, ensuring accuracy and performance benchmarks are met.
• Work closely with Regulatory and Product teams to stay ahead of legislative changes and ensure timely updates to the tax engine.

What We Need From You

• Proven experience with tax automation or determination platforms
• Deep knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations and fiscal obligations.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and system integration workflows.
• Ability to interpret legal texts and translate them into technical rules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Experience with projects involving NF-e/NFS-e, SPED, or other Brazilian e-invoicing frameworks.
• Familiarity with tax engine architecture or ERP Tax Projects
• Exposure to agile project delivery and client-facing consulting roles.
