As a part of our next growth phase, we are expanding our operations in Latin America, starting with Brazil. With our deep expertise of building payment products for the last 13+ years, we are‬ working towards solving payment challenges for online merchants and aim to become the‬ preferred payment orchestration partner for them in the market. For this, we are seeking a‬ dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to shape our product and drive growth and market‬ penetration in Brazil.‬

About the Role:‬

This role is based out of Brazil and the candidate will play a pivotal role in helping Juspay build and expand its product offerings tailored to the LATAM market. The candidate will be‬ responsible for shaping the product to meet the needs of merchants in the region, developing‬ and executing strategies to establish partnerships, acquire new clients and drive revenue‬ growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the payments industry, strong product‬ thinking, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.

What you'll be doing?

  • Identify merchant challenges related to online payments in the region and develop‬ targeted product solutions to address the gaps.‬
  • Lead end-to-end business development process from lead generation to contract‬ negotiation and closure.‬
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders across‬ potential client organizations.‬
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to shape product‬ roadmap for the market.‬
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify‬ opportunities and challenges.‬
  • Represent Juspay at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to‬ enhance brand awareness and foster business relationships.‬

Requirements
:‬

  • 2 - 5 years of work experience‬‭ (business‬ development/ account management/ product management related background with fintech companies or payment gateways would‬ be a plus)‬
  • Existing networks and relationships within the Latin America payments ecosystem is‬ desirable.‬
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese;‬ Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.‬
  • Willingness to travel (even on short notice) across countries in the region to meet‬ prospective or existing merchants.‬
