This role will be responsible for leading crisis preparedness and response efforts, ensuring effective coordination, timely decision-making, and clear communication to protect our platform, users, and brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain crisis response playbooks and escalation protocols.
  • Act as Incident Manager for high-severity events, coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Provide real-time situational updates, risk assessments, and decision-making support to leadership.
  • Manage communication with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with PR/Comms to prepare external messaging during crises.
  • Lead post-incident reviews, produce reports, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor emerging threats, global events, and regulatory trends, advising leadership on risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, regulators, and industry coalitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Crisis Management, Emergency Management, Law, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in crisis response, incident management, or risk operations in technology, government, or corporate environments.
  • Strong knowledge of incident management frameworks (e.g., NIMS/ICS, ISO 22320, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage high-pressure situations.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Trust & Safety, Law Enforcement Liaison, or Security Operations.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory environments and risk trends.
  • Multi-lingual skills (Mandarin is a plus).
