We are seeking a
Sales Director
with a strong appetite for prospecting and willing to manage the ENTIRE SALES CYCLE — from prospecting/hunting (government departments and large defense companies) and negotiation to closing. You will initially operate independently actively taking part in Sales processes, and once the first contracts are secured, you will have the opportunity to build and lead your own team.

Having a strong experience in
Defense / Intelligence / Satellite imagery
, working with Government, would be highly regarded

What you'll do ?

To support the company's growth, we are looking for a Sales Director for our Intelligence Satellite Data department.

You will plan and execute strategies and sales tactics in the following areas: Territory planning, Strategic account management, identify leads and opportunities, Executive relationship development, presentation and delivery, negotiating, closing and executing contracts, with an emphasis on defence, intelligence and security customers.

Responsibilities:

  • You will initiate contact & meet with clients (Government and large Defense companies), with the objective to exceed quota, move prospects to contract close, and expand our presence across assigned client base.
  • You will lead sales campaigns in conjunction with marketing, initiating customized proposals and communication for clients, and develop familiarity with potential clients to best meet their priorities.
  • This role will have a great deal of autonomy
  • You'll be responsible for generating your own leads and building customer pipelines
  • Accelerate customer adoption, work with partners to extend reach, lead contract negotiations
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and ensure customer happiness and success

Requirements:

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Proven experience working in a Business Development or Sales role
  • A background in Geospatial or Satellite imagery Sales is preferred. However, we would also welcome applicants from an Aerospace & Defence background
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with accountability hunter mentality with solid sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • An extensive customer network within your country is a must
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, find the right opportunities and take through to a close

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills:

  • Passion for the Space sector.
  • A network of existing clients in the Defence and Intelligence space, especially MODs
  • Experience of working in a company that is experiencing high pace growth year on year and being able to match that by contributing to the bottom line from an early stage.
