Used globally across sectors such as oil & gas, mining, logistics and food processing, the platform powers the operations of some of the world's largest companies.We are seeking a Scientific Development Manager to lead our global initiatives of Intelligent Engineering providing solutions to the Energy industry based on Physical and Mathematical Modeling and AI. While primarily focused on evolving our current solutions, will also coordinate with peers and team to provide a scalable platform that automates operations, supports smarter decisions, and saves our customers' money. Take a look in more details about this positionJob Responsibilities:· Develop integrated data and physics-driven models that power real-time solutions, enhancing safety and reducing costs for customers worldwide;· Lead technical meetings with the team and with customers;· Own the team roadmap;· Serve as the team's representative to management in all technical and non-technical decisions;· Define the scope of work for the team in partnership with customers and other stakeholders to allocate the team and resources according to the main deliverables;· Ensure objective and clear communication with customers and team;· Manage the team regarding: performance appraisal, feedback, training and development needs, recognition, succession, hiring, terminations, hours, vacations, etc. in partnership with HR;· Be a reference to other team members (trust, knowledge, problem solving, etc.);· Understand the customer's business to suggest value-added solutions;· Guarantee alignment with business strategy and vision to understand opportunities and collaborate on technical proposals.Education, Knowledge, Hard Skills & Abilities· English speaker;· Skilled in applying mathematical modeling and software engineering to simulate physical phenomena and develop solutions that enhance industrial operations;· Experience in addressing complex challenges in the context of O&G;· Bachelor degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics);· Advanced (Applied theory) in: Java or C++, Python;· Advanced (Applied theory) in: Numerical Methods, and Scientific Software and Visualization;· Advanced (Applied theory) in: Mathematical and Physical Modeling;· Previous team and projects leadership on O&G industry.Bonus Points· Experience with AI, ML or data science;· Experience related to the Energy industry;· Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or equivalent self-taught experience.Soft Skills· Customer focus· Critical thinking· Grit: intense determination to get things done· Teamwork· Strategic vision· Decision making· Leadership· ManagementTipo de vaga: Tempo integral, Efetivo CLTPagamento: R$18.000,00 - R$21.000,00 por mêsBenefícios:Assistência médicaAssistência odontológicaSeguro de vidaVale-alimentaçãoVale-refeiçãoVale-transporte
