Highly Skilled Linux Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to maintain and enhance real-time data systems for a leading global financial institution.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the uptime and performance of critical trading and data services.Key Responsibilities:Resolving data quality issues through root cause analysis and collaborating with internal and external vendors to resolve these issues.Supporting on-call duties, incident management, problem and change management processes.Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of real-time data while implementing monitoring tools to detect data discrepancies.Collaborating closely with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to share knowledge and best practices, enhancing team capabilities and delivering high-quality services.L2 Alert Management: Managing alerts requiring technical expertise, creating and updating resolutions in the knowledge base, run books, scripts and ITRS rules where applicable.Incident Management: Managing the lifecycle of incidents from identification to resolution, mitigating business impact in the production environment.Change Management: Managing the process of implementing production changes, including mandatory updates, content and software modifications performed by vendors or internal teams, requiring only checkouts.Other responsibilities include release management, event management, user support and reporting.
