Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Brazil is rapidly building its logistics network and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Operations Manager to lead middle-mile management and improvements across our network.Key ResponsibilitiesManage middle mile operations within Amazon Transportation Services (ATS)Spearhead initiatives that foster growth, enhance processes, and reduce costsBuild strong partnerships with operations leaders across different areas to resolve issues affecting Middle Mile and other operationsIdentify impacts of new business initiatives and ensure successful deploymentInnovate to improve customer experience and reduce costsAnalyze operational barriers to identify root causes and solutionsOptimize network and operations through benchmarking with international peersDevelop strategic plans for short, medium, and long-term goals, engaging senior leadershipCreate mechanisms and metrics to streamline daily operationsCollaborate with technology teams to develop supportive tools and systemsBuild capabilities across delivery, sort centers, fulfillment, linehaul, and air operations with direct financial benefitsWork effectively across multiple organizational unitsPreferred Qualifications:MBA and experience in a technical fieldStrong analytical skills and experience with large data analysesAbility to simplify complex models and identify opportunitiesStrategic and operational thinking skillsCredibility with senior leaders and on the shop floorKnowledge of Six Sigma and Lean techniquesExperience negotiating with third-party vendorsAbility to manage cultural diversity and matrix organizationsAdaptability to changing priorities and stressful situationsAt Amazon, we aim to be the most customer-centric company on earth.
