RINA is currently recruiting for a Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Americas Finance Division.Mission To lead and optimize the accounts payable function by ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant recording of all supplier and intercompany transactions, while upholding the highest standards of financial integrity.Through effective team leadership, process improvements, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the Accounts Payable Accountant Lead drives operational efficiency, fosters transparency in financial reporting, and supports the organization's strategic and fiscal objectives.#LI-KM Key Accountabilities Managing the accounts payable, making sure documentation is recorded in timely manner for payment.Controlling proper and completeness reception of supplier invoices by implementing new procedures and policies.Maintaining the accounts payable ledger.Reception and booking of intercompany supplier invoices and reconciliation across Rina Group.Booking intercompany related taxes.Support the team to record high volume of supplier invoices in the accounting system.Making sure all invoices are recorded accurately and with the correct withholding taxes.Control recurring expenses, looking for necessary expense accruals.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.Work closely with internal departments to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies.Assist with other accounting duties.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting.Good knowledge of accounts payable, and general ledger.Experience with tax withholdings regulations will be a plus.Advanced English.Soft skills: Good interpersonal communication; multi-task; hands-on; attention to details; teamwork; organization; adaptability.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Information Office located in Centro (RJ).Hybrid work regime (after first period 100% on site).All of our positions are also available to people with disabilities (PwD / PCD).Competencies BUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organization MAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraint ADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective way PROVIDE VALUE WITH PEOPLE - Value everyone's contribution through honest feedback THINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future CLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction MANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions EARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role Model PIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstances RINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure
