We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to join our Inbound Operations team.The ideal candidate will lead and develop a team of associates while driving operational excellence in our fast-paced fulfillment center environment.Key job responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:- Lead, develop, and manage a team of associates and multiple Process Assistants- Drive operational performance to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals- Analyze performance metrics and implement action plans for improvement- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures- Execute standard operating procedures while identifying process improvements- Manage labor planning and staffing requirements- Conduct performance reviews and develop talent within the team- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations- Handle employee relations and maintain positive team morale- Support inventory accuracy and control initiativesA day in the lifeWorking Conditions:- Fast-paced warehouse environment- Extended periods of standing and walking (7-12 miles daily)- Variable temperature conditions- Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays- Overtime may be required during peak seasonsPhysical Demands:- Regular walking and standing (up to ***** hours per shift)- Ability to climb stairs- Frequent lifting and bending- Use of computers and mobile devicesBasic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays- Experience in employee and performance managementPreferred Qualifications:- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniquesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.
