Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is seeking an experienced project and program manager to oversee multiple projects supporting our growth.You will manage a portfolio of projects, responsible for their end-to-end development—from scoping and execution to successful completion and adoption.Collaborating closely with leadership and support teams, you will identify opportunities for growth and improvement, ensuring the adoption of appropriate products and tools to enhance performance and quality for our customers.Success in this role requires the ability to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational concepts for diverse audiences.The environment is dynamic, requiring you to think big, move quickly, and adapt frequently.While prior logistics experience is advantageous, hands-on operations experience is essential.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazon employees to deliver excellent results, celebrating both workforce diversity and diverse working methods.If you need accommodations for the interview or onboarding process, please inform us so we can connect you with our accommodation team.Key responsibilities:Manage complex operational projects from initiation to completion, accountable for key metrics and overall results.Oversee project governance using effective methodologies, tools, and communication skills.Analyze long-term planning data to identify density opportunities, supporting leadership and strategic expansion planning.Develop business cases for new initiatives using data from various stakeholders.Identify opportunities for defect reduction, increased efficiency, cost savings, and growth.Perform problem-solving by evaluating alternatives and finding innovative, cost-effective solutions.Daily activities include:Collaborate with teams across Amazon to define project requirements, including Operations, Tax, Legal, Accounting, and Technology.Manage project implementation, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.Work closely with team members to promote project adoption across the AMZL network.About the team:Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery service, responsible for delivering packages and smiles worldwide.Within AMZL Brazil, the Planning & Expansion (P&E) team supports AMZL's operations and growth through:Jurisdiction planning and management to optimize delivery coverage and topology.Capacity planning to ensure adequate resources for short, medium, and long-term volume attainment.Expansion initiatives, coordinating efforts on major projects enabling new operations, sales, delivery channels, modes of transport, and network expansion.Qualifications include a Master's degree and experience in implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
