What would you do?
- Act as an escalation point of contact for IT infrastructure incidents reported by support team by providing the technical expertise to troubleshoot the incident and work with multiple teams for resolution.
- Act as the escalation point for the support engineer in the roster.
- Act as the coordinator for multiple regional teams for issue resolution during the on-call roster.
- Engage in DAP project activities and function under Infrastructure project portfolio management.
- Actively participate in DAP cloudification projects.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve maintenance issues escalated by support team.
- Collaborate with different teams and business units in replacing infrastructure hardware related to Server, Storage, databases, security infrastructure, back up tools and other virtualized technologies.
- Carry out regular security updates on services and other storage devices with the help of operational team.
- Provide daily team updates to ensure Michelin security conformity by analyzing monitoring tools and take actions.
- Contribute the team and asset manager to perform regular updates on CMDB to reflect updated asset and contract database such as EOL devices.
- Manage, maintain, and update configuration documentation and support ticketing system.
- Act as a change coordinator to maintain change requests and be part of a key contributor in change management process.
- Adopt and work in an Agile/Lean environment adhering to ITIL framework, improve teamwork and continuous improvement.
You will be required to have:
- Minimum Linux/Windows OS / MCP Qualification or HND in a related field and bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of IT industry experience with at least 1-year hands on experience in an IT infrastructure role.
- Working knowledge in Windows Server OS platforms (Linux experience would be considered as a definite advantage)
- Hands on experience in setting up windows set ups (Active Directory, DNS, Anti-Virus, patching and upgrading)
- Working knowledge in VMware set ups, server/VM networking.
- Working knowledge in SSL certifications
- Exposure to server platform architecture tools
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge in databases and data migrations
- Exposure to data back up and data recovery drills
- Exposure to automation technologies would be an added advantage.
- Experience in working in an incident management system would be considered as an advantage
- Working knowledge in Windows Server OS platforms (Linux experience would be considered as a definite advantage)
- Hands on experience in setting up windows set ups (Active Directory, DNS, Anti-Virus, patching and upgrading)
- and basic working knowledge in VMware set ups, server/VM networking
Working Schedule : There is a requirement to be part of 24 X 7 operation on-call support team will work on an monthly rotational roster ( 1 week per month)
