CleverTap is a growth stage startup that empowers digital consumer brands to increase customer retention and lifetime value.Our retention cloud drives contextual individualization with the help of a unified and deep data layer, AI/ML-powered insights, and automation.Our team is passionate about sales and looking to use this opportunity as a launchpad into outside sales.As a Business Development Representative, you will enthusiastically explain our vision, pinpoint opportunities, and generate interest through lead-generation activities and cold-calling.Customer and industry knowledge are crucial in this role.You will build rapport through strategic outreach and stay informed on industry trends to research customers' business and identify potential opportunities.Collaboration with your team and Sales Executives is essential to plan for success, pursue opportunities, and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.Communication via Zoom and Slack is critical to maintaining a high-level of collaboration and clear communication within the team.The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a SaaS-based product company.You should be fluent in English and have demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team.Strong and professional communication skills - written, verbal, presentation - are also necessary.You should be able to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts.Aptitude to promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables is required.The ability to act without being told what to do and bring new ideas to the company is also desirable.Measures of Success include qualified leads, funnel size, and conversion rates.Functional competencies such as mobile marketing expertise and Martech understanding are desirable.Behavioral competencies such as problem solving, consultative selling, communication and presentation skills, and negotiation skills are also necessary.As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to innovate at scale, work in a fast-paced dynamic environment where your contribution matters, and enjoy learning opportunities.Job Title: Business Development RepresentativeReports to: LATAM BDR Team Lead
