Job DescriptionPalo Alto Networks is seeking a Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team.As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our cybersecurity strategy and driving business growth.In this role, you will be responsible for building value-based business cases for cybersecurity investment, leading cross-functional teams composed of customer executives, sales teams, solution consultants, and other functional groups.You will have the opportunity to excel in areas of sales strategy, consultative discovery, and engagement execution including business analysis, problem solving, program management, executive communication, and consensus building.ResponsibilitiesSupport the sales process by providing expertise in value-based sellingContribute to team thought leadership by synthesizing experiences into reusable content and frameworksDevelop and deliver value-focused training and workshops for customersElevate the value function internally, influencing field sales strategies for key accountsLead cross-functional, multi-department engagement teams with partners, customers, and senior Palo Alto Networks experts from sales, pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture—working to shape and drive cybersecurity and digital transformation capabilitiesCoach team members by leveraging consulting expertise to identify C-level strategic issues, assess process capabilities, and develop business cases for IT and security transformationCreate industry-specific and Palo Alto Networks solution-based value selling tools, programs, and initiatives for sales, alliances, and marketing teamsSupport value-selling training initiatives across the sales ecosystemRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:12+ years of experience, preferably with a top management consulting firm or technology company, focusing on business transformationExpertise in building business cases with in-depth financial analysis and ROI/TCO modelingStrong executive presence and situational awareness, with a proven track record of influencing C-suite leaders to drive key business decisionsProven ability to foster accountability and build consensus across teams and customers, driving operational excellence and ensuring high-quality deliverablesExceptional problem-solving skills, applying consulting frameworks and methodologies, while offering creative solutions to drive executive decisionsAbility to quickly adapt and contribute to projects across various industries, including IT and OT challenges in cybersecurity, business applications, and systemsExperience in Cyber Risk Assessment, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Sales & Strategy are highly desirableMBA preferredFluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and EnglishBenefitsPalo Alto Networks offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience.Additionally, we offer benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.OthersApply now if you have a strong passion for cybersecurity and business development, and want to make a meaningful impact at Palo Alto Networks.
