ResponsibilitiesAnalyze procurement processes under different scenarios from a tax perspective, establish and optimize business rules such as supplier price selection criteria and quotation structures, and be responsible for training relevant departments on implementation.Deeply understand procurement processes and, considering Brazilian indirect tax requirements, propose process improvements.
Assist relevant departments in integrating these workflows into IT systems to continuously enhance the level of informatization and procurement process efficiency.Indirect Tax Review – Verify purchase orders, contracts, tax invoices, and logistics documents to ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation.Tax Burden Reduction – Analyze procurement processes to identify legal opportunities for tax savings (such as interstate rate differences or tax benefits); evaluate the impact of import taxes (II, IPI) and optimize procurement strategies.Cross-Department Collaboration – Support procurement and finance teams in analyzing supplier tax risks; provide tax training tofacilitate understanding of Brazil's complex tax system.Regulatory Updates – Monitor changes in Brazilian tax legislation and adjust procurement strategies to mitigate risks.QualificationsEducation: Fields of study: Finance, Taxation, or related areas.Experience:At least 3 years of experience in Brazilian taxation, with preference for candidates having experience in procurement-related taxes and/or working experience at Big Four firms.Skills:Proficiency in Brazilian tax legislation; Knowledge of ERP systems(e.G., SAP).
Languages:Fluent in Portuguese and English.
