Endpoint Security LeadershipThis leadership role involves overseeing a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and securing corporate devices across the globe.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing endpoint security, patching, and compliance.The team leader will oversee daily operations, including monitoring health metrics, implementing improvements to enhance reliability, and coordinating patch management cycles.Key Responsibilities:Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 4 endpoint engineers, providing technical guidance and career developmentMaintenance and Compliance: Oversee maintenance, patching, and compliance for 600+ Windows and macOS endpoints using NinjaOneAutomation Initiatives: Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and minimize end-user contact timeCompliance Requirements: Ensure endpoints meet compliance requirementsEndpoint Security Policies: Develop and implement endpoint security policies and proceduresVendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships with endpoint management and security solution providersTroubleshooting: Respond to and troubleshoot complex endpoint issues, maintaining hands-on technical involvementDocumentation: Create and maintain documentation for endpoint standards and processesCross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with security and IT teams to implement endpoint protection strategiesReliability Enhancements: Monitor endpoint health metrics and implement improvements to enhance reliabilityPatch Management: Coordinate patch management cycles and ensure timely deployment across all devicesIncident Response: Lead incident response efforts for endpoint-related security eventsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Leadership Experience: 2+ years of people management experience in IT or technical teamsEndpoint Management Experience: 5+ years of hands-on endpoint management experienceNinjaOne Proficiency: Strong proficiency with NinjaOne or similar endpoint management platformsEnvironment Management: Experience managing both Windows and macOS environments at scaleAutomation Tools: Demonstrated experience automating endpoint management tasks using Powershell, Python, or similarSecurity Knowledge: Deep understanding of patch management, software deployment, and configuration managementCompliance Expertise: Experience maintaining compliance with security frameworks (SOC2, ISO*****, GDPR, CCPA)Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex technical issuesCommunication Skills: Excellent communication skills for vendor management and cross-functional collaborationRemote Work: Ability to work independently in a remote environmentLinguistic Skills: Must be able to read and speak fluently in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Cybersecurity Experience: Experience in cybersecurity or identity governance industriesCertifications: Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or similarZero-Trust Security: Experience with zero-trust security models and endpoint detection and response (EDR) toolsAutomation Tools: Experience with automation tools and scripting for large-scale deploymentsSelf-Service IT: Background in implementing self-service IT solutionsWork Environment:Remote Position: This is a fully remote positionGlobal Meetings: Must be available for occasional meetings across global time zonesOn-Call Rotation: On-call rotation participation may be required for critical issue
