Responsibilities
  • Establish rapport and relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Relentlessly prospect territory to uncover opportunities for educational materials and service solutions
  • Develop an understanding of customers' business needs to provide viable solutions
  • Coordinate implementation of activities such as trade shows and product training within geographical responsibility
  • Meet with senior-level buyers to build relationships and gain support for initiatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years in professional sales within the education or related industries or 3+ years of education experience (teacher, administrator, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Comfortable working in the field (assigned territory) 90% of the time
  • Strong customer focus and effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with educational sales or administration
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Knowledge of the educational market and its trends
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical decision-making in professional settings
