We are looking for a Head of Tech who can help us improve our processes and be responsible for the entire IT organisation As Head of Tech you will be enabling and supporting the team on initiatives to improve our architecture and scalability. You will work closely with our product team to find ways to keep our continuous improvement and experimentation.
**Responsabilidades e atribuições**
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Define OKRs and Key results for the IT area with objectives that help the business priorities.
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
- Create/Define career paths for developers to hire and retain talent effectively
- Collaborate with PMs and the team to ensure team capacity and velocity on deliverables.
**Requisitos e qualificações**
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, or similar working experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Passionate about writing clean and testable code.
- 4+ years leading/managing developers in an agile environment
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Understanding of software design patterns and micro-service architecture
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)**Optionals**:
- Experience with JS.
- Experience DevOps technologies AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scaling and performance optimization.
