The manager’s primary role is to deliver the engineering package. The secondary role is to manage the technical interfaces of the project (internal and external client and subcontractors). Significant involvement with engineering, mobilization, transportation, installation, survey, construction and pre-commissioning.Key Accountabilities:- Deliver studies, guidelines and research as may be requested from time to time by regional Engineering Management;- Deliver conceptual, FEED Studies, and detailed design and analyses;- Author and review design basis, project specifications, designs codes and standards;- Deliver clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports, procedures and specifications;- Act as Project representative during meetings with Clients, Customers, internal and external Project Teams, and involved agencies such as certifying authorities, auditors, third parties, etc;- Initiate or participate in Company and Client Design Reviews, engineering and process reviews, Risk Reviews, HAZIDs and HAZOPs, etc;- Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of discipline execution and management as necessary on a specific project including scope, deliverables, schedule, manpower resources, etc;- Ensure interfaces and deliverables are clearly identified;- Manage own time to meet objectives and forecast and plan resource requirements;- Maintain responsibility for progress and productivity, identifying any required corrective actions;- Be fully familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues;- Interpret contractual requirements as they relate to engineering execution;- Identify changes to scope and promptly raise change notifications, including providing any necessary supporting documentation and estimates;- Interface with various disciplines and departments;- Initiate or participate in Company and Client lessons learnt sessions.**You are meant for this job if**:- Exposure to different clients is highly valued;- Exposure to offshore construction planning and installation operations is necessary;- Experience managing engineering for subsea project work scopes is highly valued;- Experience with various aspects of pipelay including S-lay, Reel-Lay, J-Lay operations; umbilical and/or flexible flowline and riser installations; jumper fabrication and installations; flying lead and control systems installation; subsea manifold installations is highly valued;- Experience with offshore survey and positioning; ROV operations; post installation testing and commissioning; and reeling operations is highly valued.- Direct report to manager- Degree in Engineering- Advanced English;- Willingness to travel- Location: Eco Sapucaí/ Cidade Nova - Rio de janeiroLearn more about TechnipFMC and find other open positions by visiting our Career Page.Follow us on LinkedIn for company updates.- TechnipFMC promotes inclusion and diversity, guaranteeing equal opportunities to everyone, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, disability or any other plurality._
