The Channel Manager is responsible for the alignment, enablement, and performance of the partners in their territory, understanding Veeam’s go-to-market (Sales Segmentation) and where there are synergies with the Partners to obtain more opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing relationships in a highly leveraged, matrixed environment.
  2. Reinforcing sales & technical knowledge of the partner.
  3. Building and maintaining lasting relationships with key roles within a partner account.
  4. Developing, negotiating, and tracking joint Action Plans with the partner.
  5. Discovering partner’s pipeline and keeping it updated from partner side.
  6. Keeping partners up-to-date on Veeam news and promos.
  7. Checking compliance with ProPartner Program requirements and driving the upgrade of the partner level.
  8. Developing a solid working knowledge of Veeam Software products and the benefits they provide to potential and existing partners.
  9. Providing support to partners including help with licensing and technical issues related to Veeam products.
  10. Providing support to qualified prospects and customers including follow up, product information, quotations, and closures.
  11. Providing forecasting and account opportunity as needed.
  12. Updating and maintaining partner accounts in Veeam CRM system.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience.
  2. Sales experience with or through the Channel Partner ecosystems.
  3. Sales experience in relevant industries of backup, cloud, data center a plus.
  4. Ability to pick up new technology concepts.
  5. Analytical thinker with proven ability to metric and govern Experience with Veeam Alliance Partners.
  6. Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present to groups.
  8. Knowledge of virtualization industry and the ability to relay information to the partner community.
  9. Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment.
