Startup Partner Manager, Marketing

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working in marketing.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing a portfolio of companies/clients.
- Experience working in the local tech/digital startup ecosystem or experience as a founder, investor, startup employee or in a role working with startups.
- Expertise in one of Google’s product areas (Ads, Cloud, and Play).
- Knowledge of digital business models, competitive landscape, emerging trends and venture capital/investment mechanisms.
- A network and relationships with the local startup and venture capital community.
**About the job**:
In this role you will talk and work closely with founders, understand their needs, and find cross-functional opportunities to engage startups. In the same way Google marketers view themselves to be the representative of the user, we should view ourselves to be the representative of the startups.
In this role, you will engage with founders and build community to address startup needs and help them grow. You'll work with startups to identify and prioritize potential areas of partnership. You will also work with internal teams in multiple Google product areas (e.g., Ads, Cloud, Play) to bring the best of Google to the startups including access to products, resources, and expertise.
- You will manage the execution of Google for Startups programs with a particular focus on delivering value to high potential startups in your market and also work closely with partners outside of Google to develop a network of advisors and mentors who can deliver value to the startups we engage with.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be responsible for our engagement with potential startups, develop, and localize content and build a network of advisors that caters to the startups needs.
- Work cross-functionally with sales and product teams to help startups grow using Google products, resources and expertise (i.e., Ads, Cloud, Play) and drive impact to Google’s business.
