The OpportunityThis role focuses on delivering responsive, templated service to a large portfolio of low-touch Recruitment Partners (RPs). This role balances automation and care to ensure long-tail partners receive adequate guidance, servicing existing Recruitment Partner accounts through inbound calls and inquiries through a central queue system. The Business Development Associate is responsible for maintaining partner satisfaction, resolving issues that come through a central ticketing system.
What you'll be doing every day- Quality Assurance: Handle inbound calls and inquiries to help guide and support recruitment partners to improve the quality and volume of international applicants.
- Customer Service: Address partner inquiries and resolve issues promptly by providing product and service information.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities during customer interactions to leverage ApplyBoard's products effectively, helping to solve partner issues and enhance overall satisfaction.
- Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for ApplyBoard, promoting our services to agents, international educators, and prospective students globally.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience, to align recruitment partner efforts with institutional goals.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, business development, or a related role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Education) preferred, but not mandatory.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- Strong aptitude for prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy in all communications and data management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, able to navigate ambiguous situations to achieve the best outcomes for students and the recruitment partners (Agents).
- Experience working with educational consultants and postsecondary institutions preferred.
- Experience working with CRM systems and leveraging digital tools for effective communication and data management.
- Autonomous and proactive, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
