The Day In The Life

As a Trade Development Manager, you’ll drive the Monster brand portfolio to new heights. You will turbocharge long-term strategic and tactical sales and distribution plans, aligning them with Monster Energy Company objectives. You will manage distributor and bottler business results within the Coca Cola Operating Unit region. Your success will come from strong distributor management, effective fieldwork in negotiation, visits, and market execution, and the ability to build strong relationships.

The Impact You’ll Make
  • Manage relationships with distributors and select customers in the assigned territory. Responsible for market execution in Traditional Trade and Modern Trade.
  • Maximize sale and distribution of all company products in the region through local and national sales programs.
  • Train and coach distributor/bottler sales forces to engage with the Monster brand and objectives.
  • Ensure execution of national and regional account strategies to achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives for all accounts and programs.
  • Monitor market/retailer activity to develop cost-effective strategies that drive volume and profitability through increased penetration and promotion.
  • Develop and maximize partnerships to improve performance. Use objective tools and feedback to set regional goals and measure results.
  • Conduct business performance reviews with distributors/bottlers to track and adjust efforts to produce desired outcomes across key business segments.
  • Collaborate with National Sales and Regional Account Management to understand and communicate customer programs and activities that impact their market.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales (additional experience in retail, wholesaler, or distributor sales preferred).
  • Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
