Job Description:

We seek a proactive, independent Component (Product) Owner to take charge of a major component within a digital product development team. Your responsibilities include leading the entire lifecycle of a large-scale feature—from refinement and planning to development, testing, and deployment. You will coordinate cross-functionally to break down features into work packages, manage dependencies, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across teams.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about impactful digital products. You will be part of our Digital Emergency Services product team, working closely with the product owner. Your main responsibility will be owning a cloud component and managing its backlog.

What We Expect:
  • Ownership of a full development stream and/or cloud component backlog within a scalable digital product.
  • Define and refine the scope of major features and work items, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Translate features into detailed work packages, user stories, and deliverables, identifying dependencies and risks.
  • Coordinate development activities with stakeholders, including component owners, developers, QA, and others.
  • Participate in testing to ensure features meet functional, design, and performance standards before release.
  • Support development teams by identifying issues and providing constructive feedback.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, feature ownership, or technical project management, preferably as a product or component owner.
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams delivering complex digital features or products.
  • Experience with large, scalable systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication skills with business and technical teams, including developers, POs, and testers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; coding skills are a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
