Team Lead – PL at Cognizant Overview As a Team Lead, you will lead a high‑performing team, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional service delivery by motivating your team to achieve and exceed targets. You will be a valued member of the Media Sales Support team and work collaboratively with your manager. Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development: Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development to team members. Foster a culture of high engagement, collaboration, and accountability, and proactively address performance behaviors by implementing improvement plans. Revenue Growth and Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets. Inspire the team to think creatively and adopt innovative sales approaches, and identify opportunities to scale sales programs and maximize impact. Operational Excellence: Manage day‑to‑day team operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance metrics. Monitor key metrics (e.g., Engagement Score, Adoption, Pitch Rate, etc.) and drive improvements through data‑driven decisions. Streamline processes to optimize team efficiency and productivity. Strategic Insights and Reporting: Analyze performance data to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights. Deliver clear, concise, and meaningful reports to stakeholders, with a focus on solutions, and ensure business reviews include actionable recommendations and a compelling narrative. Client and Cross‑functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between the team, clients, and internal stakeholders. Work with cross‑functional teams to align on business goals and implement best practices, and lead the team in building strong relationships with clients to drive engagement and retention. Work model For onsite roles: Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo – SP. Work‑arrangements may change based on project and client requirements. Rest assured, we will always be clear about role expectations. Requirements What You Need To Have To Be Considered Experience & Results: Proven track record of inspiring a team and driving results in a fast‑paced environment. Handle high expectations while maintaining a productive and positive team atmosphere. Adaptability & Problem‑Solving: High degree of adaptability essential to align with leadership expectations and company goals. Navigate challenging dynamics with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback. Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Sheets and Slides for data analysis, reporting, and presentations. Language Fluency: Advanced English and full professional fluency in Portuguese are required. These will help you stand out Digital marketing certificate. Google Ads experience/knowledge. Strategic & Analytical Skills: Keen ability to analyze metrics, uncover strategic opportunities, and translate complex data into a clear narrative. Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment and quickly pivot strategies in response to business changes. Previous Sales Experience: Experience in a sales or account management role is desirable for firsthand knowledge of challenges and opportunities.
