**The Role**:
Crunchyroll is looking for someone to lead its growth and operations in the Brazilian market. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Operations Latin America, you will work with multiple teams, partners, and third parties to design long-term strategies and assess plans focused on user education, subscriber growth, and revenue generation on top of overseeing the performance of the territory.
**The Global Business Operations team**
Ever-expanding global efforts fuel Crunchyroll's growth. The Global Business Operations team identifies growth and efficiency opportunities for Crunchyroll. The team works to expand the anime fan experience and Crunchyroll's presence around the globe. Global Business Operations helps everyone belong by maximizing the value and accessibility of everything Crunchyroll, giving anime and manga fans around the world a place to call home.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee operations in Brazil, working with direct leadership based in Mexico, US-based HQ, and in-territory teams.
- Be a cross-functional thought leader encouraging alignment across our teams.
- Develop mid and long-range plans to expand Crunchyroll's presence in Brazil.
- Oversee go-to-market strategies through execution, in collaboration with global and regional leadership, optimizing omnichannel ARPU, LTV and identifying opportunities to integrate Crunchyroll's several lines of businesses.
- Evaluate and prioritize proposals from local partners, judging cost/benefit, strategic and financial alignment and impact.
- Build business cases, projections, and metrics for new plans in the territory and measure return on investment and effort spent.
- Guide local agencies, contractors, and team members in priorities, timing, scope, and performance.
- Develop measurable Goals in partnership with HQ and regional XFN leadership and report on them regularly, managing regional our goals and managing its key results.
**Requirements**:
- 12+ years of work and management experience in a global or international organization in the tech, media, entertainment, or video game spaces.
- Deep understanding of the Brazilian business, media, regulatory, and pop culture landscapes and how to better use them as part of a comprehensive country strategy.
- Know how to translate our vision into strategies.
- Understand the digital media landscape with experience prospecting, nurturing, and closing complex, multifaceted deals and partnerships.
- Strengths across financial modeling, pitch decks, and business and strategy plan development.
- Prior success in managing and working in a distributed team environment with peers and partners in multiple time zones with different cultures and backgrounds.
- Experience driving external partners, project managing, and vendor relations.
- Fluency in English and native Portuguese.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally.
- Knowledge of the anime industry, subscription business models, and the OTT market are strong pluses.
