Our Global Sales & Service group includes around 4,000 of our people working across 26 sales companies in 100 countries to bring 95% of our products to market.
Everyone plays their part in lead generation, building customer relationships, closing orders, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Right now, we’ll also focused on digitising ways of working while still retaining a people-first, face-to-face approach. By balancing the benefits of both, we’ll further build strong and deep relationships with our customers and better use the increasing amount of available data to define our sales strategies going forward.

ABOUT THE JOB
Responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products and services within a defined area of responsibility (e.g. geographical, group of customer, industry or product group etc.). Senior level position demonstrating a higher level of competence, able to act independently and take on additional responsibilities.
**Job Description**:
1. Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services;
2. Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.
3. Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them in real business opportunities in order to ensure the pipeline.
4. Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services;
5. Runs the commercial operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools.
6. Build and maintain a sufficient network at customers;
7. Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up, and to get a hit-rate;
8. Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions;
9. Be active mentor of the Field Sales Engineer team in the sales process;
10. Work proactive and structured with the sales in order to optimize the sales efficiency.
Qualifications & experience:
- Degree of Engineering or technical studies or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on marine business.
- Strong sales experience.
- Advanced skills in English.
- Knowledge on Centrifuges, Heat Exchanger & Decanters is a plus.

- Rios das Ostras-RJ / Macaé-RJ / Rio de Janeiro-RJ.
