The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated prior success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code, while also helping end users who need assistance. You will participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You should be innovative, a creative problem solver, and adaptable to the changing landscape of corporate infrastructure. The role requires a highly motivated, dependable technologist who shares our passion and wants to be part of a fast-moving, execution-oriented team. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and fast learner who seeks a supportive environment to grow IT skills and expertise. This role reports to the Director of IT. Responsibilities Be the customer-facing, first line of support; own support and provide an outstanding experience to employees via tools like Slack, Jira, etc. Troubleshoot macOS in an enterprise environment; manage procurement and delivery of technology equipment. Own the onboarding experience for new employees and the retrieval process for departing employees. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies and tools; contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases. Support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, Netsuite, etc.). Manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). Improve IDP and SSO integrations (GSuite, Okta, etc.). Document solutions, craft help articles and automate repetitive tasks. Manage, respond to, and resolve critical incidents; balance help desk tickets with prioritization requirements. Contribute to projects over sprints and document work in Jira; apply agile methods and sprint discipline. Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned with team and company goals. Qualifications 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (e.g., Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc. Experience with open-source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; API experience to integrate systems. Experience providing remote support across multiple countries/time zones; familiarity with hardware shipping and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey ideas clearly and empathetically across cultures. Security-minded mindset and familiarity with PGP; solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching). Ability to methodically troubleshoot using the OSI model; strong self-management and organizational skills. Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with limited data; able to scope projects and coordinate across teams. Nice To Haves Some familiarity with AWS; hands-on experience with GAM and command-line interfaces. Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
