Role Summary

As a Renewal Account Manager, you will play a critical role in affecting and operating the renewal process for the existing customer base. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, finance, and customer success, to ensure the renewal of customer contracts and maximize revenue opportunities. Ideal candidates possess strong people skills, excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of business processes related to customer renewals.

What You Will Do
  • Customer Analysis: Analyze customer contracts and product selections related to renewals to determine the best renewal path options for customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster and maintain positive relationships with assigned customers, address inquiries and escalations throughout the renewal process, and effectively communicate Sophos renewal offerings.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with top partners, address inquiries, address escalations, and proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks to renewals.
  • Revenue Optimization: Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding customer contracts during the renewal journey; work with the sales team to drive revenue growth from existing customers.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine the renewal process to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience; identify automation opportunities and leverage technology tools to optimize workflows.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, customer success, product management) to ensure alignment; clearly communicate renewal status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
What You Will Bring
  • Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing preferred; or proven relevant experience
  • Experience in Sales, Customer Success, Channel Partners, or Renewal Management
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (Lightning and CPQ) and tools such as Outreach, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for contract management and communications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build customer relationships
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Experience in the technology industry or a SaaS environment is desirable
  • Familiarity with contract management processes and legal terminology is a plus
