Overview Manager, Commercial Acceptance – Mastercard. Global B2B payments market and the opportunity to drive B2B acceptance strategy within the division. You will partner with regional and global product teams, business development teams, and acquirers to deliver incremental B2B volume and become a Subject Matter Expert in B2B acceptance for Brazil. Job Overview Global business-to-business (B2B) payment market is in the range of USD 120 trillion. Most of it happens on non-card rails, representing a tremendous growth opportunity for Mastercard’s Commercial Products and Solutions. You will report to the Director B2B Corporate Acceptance and collaborate with Regional and Market Leads to achieve objectives that contribute to market priorities. Your effectiveness in working with market and sales teams will be crucial for strategy execution. Major Accountabilities Lead and execute on strategies to remove operational barriers to drive B2B Acceptance. Provide thought leadership to the global product team on B2B merchant/acquiring/fintech issues, pain points, and opportunities. Lead market research activities to build B2B Acceptance trends and insights. Build educational collateral to drive B2B Acceptance across the ecosystem. Liaison with the broader Corporate Solutions organization and champion Corporate Acceptance to build products and solutions. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive incremental merchant commercial payment acceptance. Work directly with Issuers, Acquirers, and Account Management teams to leverage commercial acceptance assets and partnerships and grow product portfolios. Ensure careful and appropriate utilization of Mastercard resources to support objectives. Bachelor’s degree in business. 5-8 years of related experience in B2B merchant/acquiring product, business development and strategy, with at least two years of management experience desirable. Track record of building effective supplier value propositions on the acquiring side. Strong sales and consultative experience with executive presence. Data skills and Excel expertise with the ability to drive insights and build strategy. Good knowledge of the B2B payments industry, trends, merchant & commerce landscape, acquirer economics, and value chain; experience in Accounts Receivables space is a strong plus. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate in a matrix organization. Proven sales record with ability to execute at pace in a dynamic environment. Strong business/market/financial analysis and project management skills. Skills/Abilities: Bilingual in Portuguese/English or Spanish desirable. Ability to interact and coordinate effectively with internal and external partners. Business acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results for the customer and Mastercard. Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success in a team environment. Work Conditions: Some travel required; general office environment.
