Position Overview:
As a Bilingual Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our clients presence in Portuguese and English-speaking markets. You’ll focus on building and nurturing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and effectively communicating the value of their technology solutions to address critical challenges in agri-tech, forestry, and climate sectors. This role requires a keen understanding of sustainability and environmental tech, as well as exceptional language proficiency in both English and Portuguese.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients across agri-tech, forestry, and climate sectors in Portuguese and English-speaking markets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, particularly those focused on sustainability, climate, and agricultural technology.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to specific client needs, effectively communicating the value of their SaaS solutions.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on markets where Portuguese and English are primary languages.
- Leverage industry expertise to position products as solutions to client challenges, with an emphasis on compliance, sustainability, and agri-tech innovations.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor products, and regulatory developments that impact client needs and inform market positioning.
Solution Customisation and Collaboration
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to deliver customised solutions aligned with client requirements and industry demands.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource on the companies suite of solutions, educating clients on how their technology can drive impact in sustainability and compliance.
- Provide valuable client feedback to product teams to support continuous improvement and product alignment with market needs.
Pipeline Management and Reporting
- Track and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using the company’s CRM system.
- Generate and present regular sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and other key metrics to leadership.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights, best practices, and opportunities for growth within target markets.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar Account Executive role within SaaS, tech sales, or B2B environments, ideally with a focus on agri-tech, forestry, or environmental sustainability sectors.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Portuguese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of agri-tech, forestry tech, climate tech, ESG, or sustainability fields, including relevant market dynamics and challenges.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SaaS platforms, digital tools, and analytics software relevant to agri-tech and environmental tech.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Agricultural Technology, Sustainability, or a related field preferred.
- Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of climate metrics, ESG compliance, and environmental regulations is a plus.
