Reporting to the RCM (Regional Commercial Manager), the District Sales Manager is responsible for the commercial activities of all products lines within the assigned markets making business consultancy to its dealers. The District Sales Manager ensures that the local market needs are properly feedback to the organization to ensure they are reflected in the business and strategic plan for the country. The District Sales Manager works closely together with all departments of BRP Brazil to ensure both the efficient solution of problems as well as the proper implementation of the agreed business plan.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop and achieve commercial objectives and targets for UNITS and PA&A (Parts, Accessories and Apparel) for the dealers in each of the markets for which the district manager is responsible for.
  • Maintain and develop a profitable and strong business Dealer Network for all products of the division within the district.
  • Research, evaluate and propose new business partners to the Regional Commercial Manager to develop the variety of BRP business segments in new markets or to improve the business growth in existing markets. Support NCO (Network Optimization) definition considering commercial and market opportunities.
  • Organize in conjunction with the Network Development Department the inboard processes to the new dealers and keep them developing.
  • Communicate the business plan objectives in the beginning of the season, the dealer targets through OMS (Order Management System) process and priorities to the Dealers and assist in the development of a local business plan which defines key objectives, priorities and critical factors of success for each of the assigned markets. Ensure that the local business plan objectives and market development strategy are in line with the global business plan and strategy of the country.
  • Ensure properly feedback to the organization through the DAP (Dealer and District Action Plan) and identify key priorities to develop each market using the challenger mode. Work closely with and initiate the required actions from all departments to ensure the proper back up to ensure the realization of the business plan objectives.
  • Analyze and identify sales and marketing opportunities to optimize the efficiency of policies and propose budget allocations that leverage the marketing strategies and sales performances of BRP and the dealers.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to ensure consistency with brand management guidelines, product positioning strategy and value chain implementation, dealer development guidelines, etc, while recognizing the specific characteristics of each individual market.
  • Monitor business partner performance and progress during the year to ensure the realization of the business plan objectives and to propose corrective actions, if required. Monitor business partner commitment, performance, and results on an on-going basis.
  • Participate in the development of the strategic business plan for the district in cooperation with the Regional Commercial Manager, Marketing Coordinators, Business Development Coordinator, Retail Operations Coordinator, Credit Coordinator, Logistic Coordinator and other members of the management team.
  • Responsible to maintain the attractiveness, effectiveness and control of the Performance & Bonus Program.
  • Together with Marketing and Retail Operations coordinators manage the cooperated marketing events and its expenditures to leverage sales and business sustainability.
  • Raise "immediate" red flags to avoid credit issues and support its resolution by promoting action plan to leverage cash generation.
  • Responsible to promote consistent DCR (Dealer Contact Report) according to the mentioned responsibilities for each of his accounts in a frequent basis.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • University degree, 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the automotive or motorcycle industry or relevant position in the sales area. Experience in the powersport industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English are mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and related software packages
  • Communicative personality with strong relationship building capabilities.
  • Goal oriented.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Team player
  • High-level of motivation and problem-solving attitude.
  • Good analytical skills.
