Remote Human Resources and Investigation Assistant Position (Effective 0/01/24)

CLS provides HR services, such as consulting, executive search/recruitment, and employee complaint investigations, to other organizations throughout California. We help organizations become more successful by strategically supporting them to manage their workforce and the relevant employment regulations.


Regardless of what you studied in a university or the type and duration of your work experience, this is a rare opportunity for you to build your career from step 1 as an HR Assistant who is expected to learn the job quickly to become competent in the work that we do and promote to the HR & Investigation Specialist position after at least 12 months of competent performance. 


Amazing Compensation and Benefits at a Glance (read below for more details)


(1) Compensation: $3.5 million Colombian Pesos (COP) to $5.0 million Colombian Pesos (COP) for Human Resources and Investigation Assistant (this includes benefits – see second bullet point and page 4 for details). [That equates to approximately $4,700 - $6,700 Brazilian Real.]

(2) Monthly benefits include $80,000 COP for a gym membership, $200,000 COP to buy private health insurance, and $120,000 COP to support the purchase of your supplies and phone/internet service.

(3) CLS team members receive their full compensation every month without any payroll/tax deductions.

(4) High-performance bonus available to all team members ranging from $500,000 to $1 million COP per project.

(5) Profit Sharing Bonus Program: CLS HR Specialists/Supervisors/Managers earn $300,000 to $500,000 COP for each investigation completed by the company.

(6) Remote work from your designated home office – goodbye to traffic and lost time

(7) 23 paid days off earned every calendar year (includes a day off for your birthday) – get the time off when you need it.

(8) Personal no-interest loan is available for team members.

(9) CLS supports taking an HR certification exam – passing the exam gets you a $500,000 COP bonus.


Operations Schedule from Your Designated Home Office


Join a passionate team and make a real difference in this full-time role. Core hours of operation are 6 am - 4 pm PST / 7 am - 5 pm PDT, California/USA, Monday - Friday, and the potential for extended hours or weekend contributions for high-impact projects.


Compensation


HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION ASSISTANT (Position Open Now): The total monthly compensation range is $3.5 million to $5.0 million COP (this includes benefits). Starting monthly base compensation depends on the level and quality of your work experience relevant to the work CLS performs AND possession of both required and preferred qualifications. Every six months, you will receive a performance review and compensation increase of up to $500,000, depending on your performance, until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position. Work as a CLS HR & Investigation Assistant for a minimum of 1 year with competent performance and become eligible for promotion to the HR & Investigation Specialist position.

 

Internal Promotional Opportunities (does not apply to external applicants)


HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION SPECIALIST: The total monthly compensation range is $5.0 million to $10.0 million COP (this includes benefits). During the first year, you will receive a performance evaluation and compensation of up to a $500,000 increase every 6 months. After that, it will be every 12 months, and the compensation increase is up to $1,000,000. The amount of your compensation increase depends on your performance and will continue to increase until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position.


HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION SUPERVISOR: The total monthly compensation range is $7.0 to $12.0 million COP (this includes benefits). During the first year, you will receive a performance evaluation and compensation of up to a $500,000 increase every 6 months. After that, it will be every 12 months, and the compensation increase is up to $1,000,000. The amount of your compensation increase depends on your performance and will continue to increase until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position.


HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION MANAGER: The total monthly compensation range is $12.0 to $20.0 million COP (this includes benefits). During the first year, you will receive a performance evaluation and compensation of up to a $500,000 increase every 6 months. After that, it will be every 12 months, and the compensation increase is up to $1,000,000. The amount of your compensation increase depends on your performance and will continue to increase until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position.


*Your compensation will not be reduced by any taxes or deductions, and it is your responsibility to comply with any local and federal income/tax requirements.


Minimum Education/Experience Requirements


Human Resources & Investigation ASSISTANT:

·      Advanced professional English speaking and writing skills are required.

·      A minimum of 1 year of full-time professional work experience in English (in any field) is required. (Work experience in an internship does not count towards the 1-year requirement).

·      A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a full-time job remotely with a defined schedule from a home office is required.

·      A Professional Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required.

·      3 or more years of experience working in a full-time professional HR-related job in English (which includes daily communication and writing using advanced professional English skills) is preferred.

 

Duties & Primary Service Objectives for CLS HR & Investigation ASSISTANT


1.    Use advanced English written/verbal communication – especially professional writing in English.

2.  Your primary function will be to assist the investigator in performing professional employee complaint investigations for employers. Your role includes coordinating witness interview meetings: duties may include coordination of witnesses and professional correspondence with the client and witnesses, taking accurate notes, preparing witness interview summaries using the recorded interviews, and analyzing the facts in the investigation report.

3.    Perform a variety of human resources related projects such as executive search/recruitment.

4.    Propose and implement innovations that improve CLS as a company and our work product, such as enhancing client relations, measures that make CLS more profitable, measures that save money/resources, and measures that help make operations more efficient.

5.    Learn and support CLS’s marketing efforts, which may include establishing an effective presence on social media platforms, advertising campaigns, and engaging with potential clients.

6.    Perform business development and marketing activities, including lead generation and strategy development, outreach to potential clients and partners by phone, email, and messaging on social media platforms.

7.    Identify risks and opportunities and have high problem-solving skills to effectively find solutions related to the business as a whole – and promptly recommend and implement solutions to operational issues and needs.

8.    Advanced utilization of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other technologies/software used at CLS.

9.    Project management skills with excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency – with continuous follow-up on any task or assignment until completion.

10. Provide the CEO with reliable and confidential support for personal and executive-level tasks.

11. Communication with team members daily via email, phone, video calls, and WhatsApp (blue checkmarks must be activated). Available to work and respond to business needs outside core business hours and on weekends.
