**Senior Technical Consultant - Robotics and Discrete Automation**:

Leads consulting assignments of medium complexity. Contributes to the development of consultancy products and services. Participates in the creation of consulting business strategy.

**This position reports to**:
Business Manager - E2E

**Your responsibilities**:

- Takes a lead role to propose consulting services and solutions to meet the customer's needs.
- Leads or supports the development of a special technology focused in robotics automation.
- Actively participates in customer discussions; preparing technical proposals; techno-commercial negotiations; co-creation workshops with customers; technical guidance for the customer etc.
- Makes contacts at senior level (e.g., Site Manager, Technical Director).
- Develops relationships and actively maintains a technical knowledge exchange with key technical contacts.
- Ensures consistency in documenting knowledge/lessons learned and shares across the unit/team.
- Coaches and develops consultants to deliver assignments and provides technical guidance to colleagues.
- Identifies learning competency gaps in the consulting team and addresses the gap through active (technical) people development.
- Applies standard processes and tools applicable to their own area of responsibility.
- Creates work plans and cost estimates in their own area of responsibility.
- Ensures quality and timely implementation within targeted cost.
- Supports the development of new tools and processes for effectiveness.
- Reports inefficiencies in processes and tools.
- Conducts risk and opportunity assessments for consulting assignments.
- Proposes and initiates actions to mitigate and control risks in one’s area of responsibility.
- Identifies opportunities for repeat and new consulting business.
- Forms and leads teams to deliver assignments with a focus on operational execution.
- Oversees and delivers consulting assignments.
- Works with contract management activities (invoicing and work in progress, etc.) in their own area of work.
- Approves assignment tasks carried out by others.

**Your background**:

- Education: Completed Higher Education, Bachelor's or Technologist degree in engineering or related fields.
- Required: Knowledge in painting projects.
- Required: Knowledge in ABB painting robots.
- Required: Knowledge of processes in the automotive, agriculture, and plastics industries.
- Required: Experience in sales and commercial area, preparation of technical commercial proposals.
- Desirable: Process simulation in Robot Studio.
- Language: Advanced English is mandatory.
