The Service Sales Specialist is responsible for negotiating Service Contract renewals and contacting existing Billable (Time and Material) customers in Brazil to discuss the value of service contracts and annual preventative maintenance for Cepheid’s molecular diagnostic instruments. Within Sales Force the Service Sales Specialist will create new Opportunities, generate quotes, and close the sale with routine follow-ups and funnel management. The Service Sales Specialist will partner with our Service Contract Admin team to collect, review, and process the customer documentations and PO.

This position is part of the Americas Customer Care, will be located within 100 km of São Paulo city (working remotely), and will report to the Brazil Senior Regional Service Manager.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Provide customer with an excellent customer service experience while generating service contract revenue for our Customer Care department.
- Create Opportunities and quotes in Sales Force to document notes and customer decisions in the CRM. Manage your own funnel with routine follow-ups until closure.
- Partner with the Service Contract Admin team to review customer documentations and PO’s and help ensure successful processing with invoicing.
- Collaborate with Commercial Sales team to discuss specific customer accounts including service options, customer contacts, commercial leads, and questions.
- Connect with peers in Americas Customer Care organization to successfully sell service and win opportunities.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a fast-paced Sales role in the Medical Device industry, Service Sales, or comparable experience
- Track record of sales success, specifically in selling premium-priced products
- Language Skills: Portuguese Fluency (written & spoken) and Advanced English (written & spoken) required (Spanish a plus)
- Travel up to 50% with overnights (valid driver license)

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Experience with CRM systems (Sales Force experience is a plus)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, MS Teams, and managing shared files in the cloud
- Experience in conducting product and business presentations to internal and external customers
