**About the Role***
As the Uber Advertising Strategic Verticals Team Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to join a founding team and lead a group of high-performing, experienced Client Partners and Partner Managers. Together, you will drive revenue growth and foster strong relationships with some of the most recognizable Fortune 500 brands.
In this role, you'll oversee the strategy, revenue goals, and operations across all verticals while mentoring a talented team of professionals to achieve exceptional results.
**What You'll Do***
- **Coach and Develop Talent**: Train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing ad sales team with deep expertise in key assigned verticals.
- **Shape Advertising Solutions**: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to tailor Uber's advertising offerings and build go-to-market strategies that address customer needs.
- **Build Strategic Partnerships**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with advertisers and agency executives, creating Joint Business Plans and securing Annual Commitments.
- **Drive Results**: Lead your team to exceed revenue goals and consistently deliver exceptional results for Uber's top advertising partners.
- **Optimize Processes**: Audit and refine sales processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure operational excellence.
**What You'll Need***
- **Experience**: 8+ years in digital advertising and at least 7+ years in sales management, with a proven ability to build and scale successful sales teams.
- **Leadership**: Demonstrated experience in coaching and leading high-performing teams, with strong business acumen and emotional intelligence (EQ).
- **Strategic Thinking**: Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies while navigating complex stakeholder dynamics.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adaptable for internal teams and external partners.
- **Process Expertise**: Ability to design, audit, and improve sales processes to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
- **Digital Advertising Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of digital and mobile advertising, including emerging trends and innovations.
- **Project Management**: Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple priorities and delivering on tight timelines.
