**Job Description**:
3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets. This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Sales Excellence Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales teams. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategies, processes, and initiatives to drive sales excellence, optimize sales performance, and maximize revenue generation. The Sales Excellence Manager will work closely with sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure the achievement of sales goals and continuous improvement in sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:

- Collaborate with senior sales leadership to define and refine the sales strategy.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure sales team effectiveness.
- Develop strategies to align sales objectives with company goals and market trends.

Sales Process Optimization:

- Evaluate and streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify bottlenecks, obstacles, and inefficiencies in the sales cycle and recommend improvements.
- Implement best practices and tools to enhance the sales process.

Sales Training and Development:

- Design and deliver training programs for sales teams, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to sales representatives to improve their skills and performance.
- Monitor and assess the impact of training programs on sales results.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze sales data and generate insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Create and maintain sales dashboards and reports for tracking performance against KPIs.
- Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Sales Technology and Tools:

- Ensure that sales teams are proficient in using relevant sales software and tools.
- Collaborate with IT to implement and integrate new technologies as needed.

Sales Enablement:

- Work closely with marketing to develop sales collateral, presentations, and materials.
- Enable the sales team with the resources and information needed to effectively engage customers.
- Ensure that sales representatives have access to the latest product information and marketing materials.

Performance Measurement and Accountability:

- Establish performance goals and targets for the sales team.
- Monitor sales team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Develop and implement a performance recognition and rewards program.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align efforts and drive sales success.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Your Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in fields such as Economics, Finance, Business, Sales or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
- Languages (must be advanced in Spanish & English)
- Three (3) years of experience in related field
- Current, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
