Power Advisory Expert

As a senior consultant in our power consulting unit, you will be responsible for developing advisory projects for major electricity sector agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for new and repeating consulting business by building internal and external networks for the exchange of information.
  • Create added value for customers and the organization by ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals using sales techniques and negotiating tactics.
  • Propose research & development projects including scope and budget, and support project management strategy including productization and contract management activities.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity assessments to ensure delivery of assignments as per agreed contract.
  • Lead the creation of new processes and tool enhancements following the study of advanced techniques, with coaching and developing subordinate colleagues.
  • Manage experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
  • Implement policy and strategy for short-term results, and take care of problems that are difficult to moderately complex.
  • Influence others outside of your job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • A driven, dedicated, and service-minded person who can work both independently and in a team.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and open to global collaboration.
  • University degree desirable with Master or MBA within a relevant technical area, along with competence in engineering & consulting firms.
  • Relevant industry technical certifications desirable.
  • Significant experience in energy/utility sector.
  • Proven experience in managing P&L.
