Job Description

  • Tax Compliance Specialist: Perform closing of indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, PIS, COFINS, and withholding taxes).
  • Review and Issue Tax Payments: Review tax calculation worksheets (ICMS, IPI, ICMS-ST, PIS, COFINS, and withholding taxes) to ensure proper assessment. Issue tax payment forms (ICMS, IPI, ICMS-ST, PIS, and COFINS).
  • New Business Operations: Support new business operations to ensure compliance with ancillary obligations (GIA, SPED, GIA-ST, EFD-Contributions, and REINF).
  • Tax Legislation Monitoring: Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation.
  • Invoicing Support: Monitor receiving manifests and outbound invoicing. Provide support to invoicing team, ensuring compliance with tax legislation.
  • Tax Parameters Management: Follow up pricing tables, MVA changes, tax rate changes, and create/update tax parameters in the system.
  • Fiscal Data Maintenance: Maintain fiscal data and tax-related master records in the system.
  • Special Tax Regimes: Analyze and control special tax regimes applied to customers.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
  • Languages: Advanced English.
  • Software Skills: Experience with integrated ERP systems and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable Experience: Desirable experience with tax parameter settings in ERP systems.
  • Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of tax legislation: ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, PIS, COFINS, and withholding taxes.
  • Regulatory Experience: Experience in tax compliance and regulatory review.
  • Tax System Implementation: Experience with tax system implementation.
