Financial Services Account Manager

We are seeking a seasoned account manager to lead our most valued customers in the financial services sector into the digital age.

  • Account Management:
  • - Develop and execute strategies to drive high-volume sales, increase revenue potential, and open new opportunities for both Microsoft and partners, aligned to goals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • - Proactively expand strategic networks of key internal and external partners and decision makers to ensure execution of core tasks and account transactions.
  • - Leverage industry expertise to develop mutually beneficial, long-term account plans to grow sales and partner impact.
  • - Collaborate across organization and partners to influence the broader ecosystem and shape long-term strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Thinking:
  • - Leverage close relationships with leaders of assigned accounts and the broader ecosystem to shape long-term strategic direction and influence business metrics.
  • - Engage in strategic discussions by articulating ideas to evolve and facilitate evolution of customer business model.
  • - Drive strategic initiatives to promote a more holistic digital approach between Microsoft and the customer.
Customer Engagement:
  • Proactive Relationship Building:
  • - Elevate relationships and use Microsoft sales strategies through multiple levels of the customer's organization to secure buy-in and execution.
  • - Expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer and spread into other areas of the organization.
Sales Excellence:
  • Customer Feedback and Insight:
  • - Leverage deep relationships with key customer contacts and immerse self in customer business to seek customer feedback regarding ways to acquire, retain, and grow more of their business.
  • - Identify and understand drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction, leveraging industry expertise and understanding customer business strategy.
