About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our business development efforts in the Brazilian market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve company growth targets in the Brazilian market.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government agencies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of major business deals and contracts.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align business development initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Prepare and present business development reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the solar energy industry.
  • Experience in energy products sales (Wind, Solar, Hydro)
  • Proven track record of achieving business growth and meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of the solar energy market, particularly in Brazil.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English required; Spanish is a plus.
