Key Responsibilities

The Commercial Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving business growth, focusing on customers, vendors and cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Customers: Hold category-specific knowledge about customers and their needs, emerging product trends and market segment evolution.
  2. Vendors: Own vendor relationships, auditing and escalating performance, improving terms and cost structures through negotiation, and developing long-term partnerships with new and existing vendors to drive top-line growth and category expansion.
  3. Central and Functional Teams: Represent customer and business needs in interaction with central teams, projects and initiatives, driving central teams for the evolution of customer-facing and internal systems to improve the customer experience from a category perspective.

A day in the life involves owning the commercial operations end-to-end, including the entire profit and loss (P&L) statement, from revenue down to free cash flow. Accomplished skills range from high-level critical thinking to working with external partners, with experience in controllership and data proficiency using Excel and systems.

Requirements

Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese, along with analytical abilities and leadership skills to lead teams and handle multiple projects.
