Job Summary:

The Procurement and Production Planning Supervisor will be responsible for managing the work of employees in the procurement team, assigning responsibilities and allocating departmental activities. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage the work of employees in the procurement team, assign responsibilities, and allocate departmental activities.
  • Training and Development: Train and plan employee training in the team, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Performance Management: Assess the performance of employees in the team, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on team performance, procurement activities, and production planning.
  • Procurement: Create and send RFQs to suppliers, negotiate prices, and maintain price bases in SAP.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure continuous supply of production materials according to defined processes, estimate required quantities, and create delivery plans.
  • Quality Control: Ensure delivery date and quality in critical situations, report accordingly, and escalate topics to higher levels if necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor incoming materials, prioritize tasks, and check and administer documents related to procurement activities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and check daily reports, monitor changes in production plans, and analyze inventory results and waste.
  • Communication: Coordinate and cooperate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders, provide reminders to suppliers, and support supplier development departments.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to analyze and solve complex problems, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
