
Strategic Business Growth Director

This key position focuses on expanding business growth through consultative sales efforts targeting high-level decision-makers at current and prospective clinical sponsors. The successful candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities within designated customer accounts.
Responsibilities:- Identify, develop, and execute strategic plans to capture new business opportunities.
- Build strong industry relationships to discover potential business opportunities and stay up-to-date on market trends.
- Collaborate with Sales Management to prioritize target account opportunities, create comprehensive sales plans, and monitor lead status and performance against plans.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities by continuously monitoring sales activities and performance against plans.
- Lead the sales process, preparing and delivering sales presentations, and coordinating proposal development.
- Foster long-term customer relationships and monitor satisfaction through regular communication.
- Develop targeted sales strategies for each account, analyzing market trends and identifying areas for growth.
- Ensure timely completion of contractual documents, accurately report sales activities in CRM systems, and provide sales activity reports to Sales Management as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related field required.
- Seven years of relevant experience required, with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical development principles.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and internet proficiency, are essential.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills are necessary for success in this role.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage demanding timelines is critical.
- Exceptional attention to detail is also required.
