The Subsea7 Deputy Vessel Superintendent plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.
Key Responsibilities:- Driving HSEQ Excellence
- Collaborate with the Vessel Superintendent to maintain assets in a safe condition and adhere to specifications and Class standards.
- Contribute to the development of all Subsea7 policies and procedures.
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to local HSEQ codes and practices.
The Deputy Vessel Superintendent is also responsible for:
Technical and Operational Duties:- Executing IMO, Class, Flag, and ISM responsibilities in close collaboration with the Master and Chief Engineer.
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize project impact.
- Prepare and manage operational expenses budgets.
- Organize engineering and technical support required for technical definition and costing of major projects.
- Participate in improving maintenance procedures, standards, and policies.
- Present monthly technical, financial, and safety reviews.
- Effectively manage vessel inventory for spares and consumables.
- Maintain and adjust an adequate and cost-effective marine crew and team of technicians.
- Liaise with internal clients regarding vessel operational matters.
