Overview

The Assistant Front Office Manager is a key role in the hotel's operations, responsible for overseeing the Front Desk, PBX, Guest Services, Bell, Door, Concierge, and Night Audit teams. This position requires a strong leader who can coach and set clear goals for team members, ensuring exceptional customer service and seamless integration with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Front Office team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet hotel standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Front Office operations, including process improvements and staff training.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as Food and Beverage, Catering, and Sales, to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with additional projects and requests as needed to support the hotel's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in an upscale hotel as a Front Office Manager, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Four-year degree from a Hotel Management school or Business school.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; second language a plus, French preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands.
